The Herts Area Rape Crisis and Sexual Abuse Centre started in 1986. We run as a collective, which means that no one person is in charge and we all make decisions together. We have one part time paid Administrator and all our counsellors are volunteers. They receive full training in counselling skills and regularly attend courses and seminars to gain new skills.
