Our Helpline is open between 7.30pm and 9.30pm on Thursday evenings, when a female counsellor takes calls. At other times a message can be left and we aim to return calls within 24 hours, often sooner.

We do not take referrals; we believe that when a woman is ready she will make the decision to seek our help herself. We will always talk to family and friends to help them to find ways of supporting the woman.

We are a women only centre, although we are happy to give information on where male survivors can obtain help

We offer telephone and face-to-face counselling. Some women call us only once, perhaps for practical information or advice, some undertake counselling; this can last for a few weeks or a few years, whatever the woman feels she needs.
